Are mobile phone calls interrupting meetings a bad thing?
Your answer would surely be no if you were getting the call in a meeting where you were dying of boredom (which unfortunately tends to happen often as efficient meeting is still a rare discipline). This would be like being saved by the bell.
But if this phone call would make someone slip out of an important strategic meeting to talk to his daughter, which would end-up in dismissing the meeting that could have allowed to spend 5 millions instead of 18 ; would that be bad?
Oh well, I guess no if it is public money.
